LULAC Texas District 12 was established at the 2008 LULAC District 7 Convention and was ratified by the LULAC Texas State Executive Board Meeting.
LULAC Texas District 12 was created due to a fast growing central Texas community and the needs of two seperate communities seeking representation for their distinct areas. The decision to create District 12 was a hard decision but was necessary for the benefit of the community. It has turned out to be the best thing for both Districts by allowing each Director the ability to focus on their communities.
